“We had 80 mailboxes and I was dreading it. The whole thing was done in three weeks and nobody noticed a thing. Not one support ticket from the whole company.”

“Fixed price meant no surprises on the invoice. They quoted us $5,200, that’s exactly what we paid. The timeline was four weeks and they hit week three. Genuinely impressive.”

FAQ
Questions about the migration
Everything you need to know about the process, timeline, and what happens to your data.
How much does a migration cost?
We offer fixed-price migrations agreed before we start. Pricing depends on the size and complexity of your environment. Most small to mid-size businesses receive a quote within 24 hours of their assessment call. There are no hourly rates and no hidden fees.
What happens to our existing email history?
Everything comes across. Email, calendar events, contacts, tasks and any other data in your Exchange mailboxes is migrated in full. Your staff will open their new environment and find everything exactly where they left it.
Can you migrate shared mailboxes and distribution groups?
Yes. We handle user mailboxes, shared mailboxes, resource accounts, room mailboxes, distribution groups and mail-enabled security groups. Everything in your Exchange environment is scoped during the assessment and migrated as part of the project.
What if we have third-party tools connected to Exchange?
We identify every integration during the assessment phase, including CRM systems, helpdesk tools, HR software, finance platforms and anything else connected to your mail environment. Each one is assessed and dealt with as part of the migration plan.
Do you offer support after the migration is complete?
Yes. Every migration includes post-cutover support and we stay available for questions after handover. If you need ongoing IT support beyond the migration, Carden IT Group offers managed services across the US and UK.
We have a complex setup - can you still handle it?
Yes. We have delivered migrations for environments of every size and complexity, including businesses with strict compliance requirements, large public folder structures, legacy connectors and complex multi-domain setups. The assessment call is where we scope that complexity and plan for it.
What do we need to prepare before we start?
Not much. We send you a pre-migration checklist before the assessment call. It covers things like confirming your license counts, documenting your DNS records and identifying any third-party integrations. Most of it is straightforward and we help you work through anything you are unsure about.
How do you ensure there is no disruption to our business?
We migrate in phases. Your staff keep working on Exchange while we move data in the background. Nothing changes for them until we are ready to cut over, and by that point everything has already been tested and verified. The cutover itself typically takes minutes.
